Dr Avni Misra designs training programs and practical tools to help academics and government professionals develop the skills and systems necessary to deliver meaningful research impact.
Based at RMIT University, her work draws on expertise in innovation, technology management, and societal impact, with a focus on equipping researchers to plan, implement, and evidence the impact of their research across the research lifecycle. She has led research impact training and capacity-building initiatives at RMIT University and contributed to international programs such as the OpenInnoTrain Summer School, and worked with various industry and government stakeholders.
A sought-after speaker and facilitator across Australia, the UK, and Europe, she develops workshops and toolkits that enable research teams and public sector organisations to embed impact and engagement into everyday research practice.
